Duties & Responsibilities:
Controls and coordinates the use of motor vehicles and chauffeurs to provide efficient transportation services to State Department employees and agencies supported by ICASS motor pool services at Embassy Kabul.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

1. EDUCATION: Completion of High school is required.
2. EXPERIENCE: Two to three years chauffeur experience with UN, NGO or Western Embassy. One to two years dispatcher or supervisory experience.
3. LANGUAGE: English Level III (Good Working Knowledge) and Level IV (Fluent) Dari.
4. SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
A valid driver's license required. Must have computer skills including how to use excel spreadsheets and create databases. Must know how to interact with airport personnel and follow tight security procedures. Must be tactful and diplomatic when dealing with airport officials, American personnel, and VIPs. Must have good name/face recognition skills. Must be flexible and be able to adjust to changing work schedules (working sometimes at night and other times during the day).
5. JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must know how to read airline schedules. Must have knowledge of Embassy security procedures for expediting personnel through Afghan Immigration and Customs.
