Afghanistan Independent Land Authority, Multi Location
The Donor Coordinator will work under supervision of the CEO, and will be responsible for the coordination of CEO related activities of the program.
The incumbent will undertake the following responsibilities under the direct supervision of the CEO:
Enters all donor data from checks, correspondence, and online transactions into donor database on a daily basis and maintains accurate hard copy and electronic files
Prepares detailed reports
Updates donor contact information to ensure current records are up-to-date
Reconciles financial information
Develop comprehensive working plan for the Land Management and Distribution Directorate and keeps regular track of its progresses in case of any possible impediment reports the concerned issue to the CEO/DG.
Ensure proper and accurate implementation of the laws and policies on land transfer, distribution and exchanges
Reviews, verifies, analysis and scrutinize the land related documents, and make proper rectifications based on the statutory Land Management Law and other related laws ordinance
Prioritize and categorize the daily tasks based urgency and importance of the case
Create and maintain professional relations with the stakeholders, clients and other relevant entities
Develop and maintain a proper and accurate data-storage system both in the form hard and soft copies
Create and maintain an effective mechanism of follow up
Develop and maintain sound and professional working relations and friendly environment with the co-workers
Participate in the internal and external land related meetings and provides reports of the meeting
Produce monthly progress reports
Any other assignment deemed necessary for execution by Arazi CEO
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
Bachelor’s degree in Management, BBA or any other related field.
Additional practical trainings in the related fields
Must be detail-oriented, have a working knowledge of databases, preferably the Raiser’s Edge, and their typical functions, proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), internet capable and possess an ethic of accountability in the workplace Must be committed to providing excellent customer service
Possess excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to interact professionally with stakeholders and demonstrate good judgment
Ability to prioritize tasks and focus on multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Ability to overcome challenges and problem-solve
Must be a self-starter with ability to work independently and as a member of a team Commitment to the mission of Shelter Box
Vehicle and valid driver’s license and must be willing to use them on occasion as job duties
Require In addition to these requirements, the following are considered to be strong assets for the role: Post-secondary education
Experience working with volunteers and in the nonprofit/fundraising environment
Basic proficiency in design programs (In Design, Photoshop) a plus
Knowledge of internationally recognized procurement standards; good understanding of procurement techniques and practices and knowledge of market trends and sources of supply and equipment;
Good understanding of Afghanistan public procurement law, rule, policies, practices and procedures;
Proven analytical skills, including ability to research and analyze data and develop recommendations on procurement contracts awards and related issues;
Ability to obtain information, clarification and agreement on terms of contracts and/or specification requirements; demonstrated ability to apply good judgment in the context of assignments given;
Ability to plan own work and manage conflicting priorities;
Ability to manage staff and contribute to the skills and capacity building;
Good communication (spoken and written) skills, including ability to explain and present procurement-related information / requirements and prepare written documents/communications in a clear, concise style;
Excellent working knowledge of English , both verbal and written; Fluency both written and verbal in Dari/ Pasto;
Good interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with people in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity;
Good working knowledge of MS Office application (Word, Excel), email and able to easily navigate internet;
Be able to uphold and respect procurement ethics and to conduct activities with integrity;
