Reporting to the Administrative Security Officer, the Driver is responsible for the safe and vigilant picking up and dropping off of the staff. The driver should request the items needed for the vehicle, should keep the vehicle ready for travel, should report any accident or incident to the Administrative and Security Officer in a timely manner, and should always maintain a safe distance from the IMF convoys.
• Undertake short and long trips as assigned by Supervisor.
• Keep assigned vehicle clean and ready for use at all times.
• Check vehicles daily to ensure all tools of the vehicle are available and functioning.
• Report any irregularities immediately to Supervisor to ensure necessary maintenance or repairs.
• Track and update vehicle log book and submit it to the Administrative and Security Officer on a monthly basis.
• Comply with Global Rights policies and procedures.
• Other duties as may be assigned.
• Should be literate.
• Should have one or two years of experience with an NGO as a Driver.
• Should be able to work under pressure.
• Should hold relevant recruitment documents, such as recommendations letters and certificates.
• Personal security training is an advantage.
