Job Summary

The educator is responsible for the quality of the basic literacy training provided to the community centre, for women and female teenagers. He/She will work under the direct supervision of the center director.

The literacy teacher is in charge of:

Education of illiterate female teenagers and women
Preparation, running and monitoring of literacy activities
Individual follow up of the teenagers regarding, educational difficulties, personal problems or centre attendance. Referral to the social workers when necessary
Attend meetings organized at the centre or EMDH office

Duties & Responsibilities

Job Requirements

Experience in education / as a teacher
Able to work with and to adapt to heterogenic groups of children and adults
Knowledge in Child Protection, and women rights is an advantage
Strong motivation to work with vulnerable teenagers and women
Ability to work in a team as well as independently

The position is located in Kabul, Daste Bashi, district 13
