SC is actively working in Afghanistan since last one decade and has proven performance record of executing large projects.
Job Summary:
The incumbent will be responsible for overall electrical design activities of projects and works under supervision of design manager’s instructions. Further duties and responsibilities are mentioned as bellow:
Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform analysis and design using defined codes including but not limited to UFC, IEC, NFPA, and BS
Coordinate and notify design manager and designers of all other disciplines of any change brought in electrical drawings.
Plan and conduct independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.
Prepare the most economic engineering plans, design, narrative and layouts while meeting the contract requirements of client.
Provide full technical support to contracting and construction departments.
Study thoroughly the site topography maps and pay attention to all site conditions on how to fit all electrical elements on the site plan.
Prepare drawing drafts using Auto CAD and other programs as required by client.
Research design options and document findings for design manager;
Review and/or develop shop drawings, catalogs, and material samples to incorporate them in design.

Serve as design QC engineer to inspect design package and ensure that it meets contract and State Corps requirements, and is coordinated with other design departments.
Job Requirement:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited University.
At lease 4 years’ experience of working as Electrical Design Engineer.
Well versed with design codes: IEC, BS, NFPA and UFC.
Expert in Auto CAD with strong electrical background.
Excellent knowledge of Ms. Office packages.
Must have strong written and oral (English language) communication skills.
