Job Summary

The Senior National Site Mechanical/Plumping Engineer will be responsible for the supervision of followings but not limited to the following aspects of electromechanically building services.

Duties & Responsibilities

1-Cabdidate must be familiar with the installation of water supply system for fire 

2-Candidate must having a certificate of NEC. 

3-Candidate should be familiar with the installation of Sprinkler system.

4-Candidate should be familiar with the installation of Fire system.

5-Candidate must have worked with US Army Corps of Engineering AED on electrical projects.

 6-Security and alarm systems

7-Lightning protection

8-All systems must be tested to ensure that the system is stable and safe.

9-The engineer must supervise on daily basis.

10-He/she must perform quality control of all the equipment that will be supplied by the contract and make sure that the equipment is as per specification prescribed in the biding document in according to standard.

11- He/she is responsible to ensure that all the mechanical system is installed properly.

12-He/she should handle design problems when they arise. Mechanical plans are never 100 percent correct, and changes will always have to be made. These changes are the responsibility of the site engineer.

13. Final Inspection: A final inspection is required once all installation and testing have been completed. The site engineer will inspect the mechanical and water system portion of the building along with the building inspector. If the inspector finds any problems, the site engineer must get them fixed in order for the building to pass inspection.

Job Requirements

1-B.Sc. in civil engineering or higher

3-Maintain safe, productive and profitable work sites for the electrical workers.

4-Ensure the project site is in compliance with contract requirements, approved design and drawing.9-Have good ability of communication with local peoples.

5- Fluent in English. Must be able to speak, read, and write English with 100% accuracy with excellent.

6-Implementation of construction project electrical system.

12-Implementation and design of construction project’s Electrical work according contract requirements especially for Ministry’s Government of Afghanistan Projects.

7- Must be able to write proposals (in excellent English) that meet all the specifications described in an RFP

8- Must have experience writing proposals that have been awarded

9-Preparing of the cost estimation and breakdown cost for new coming Electrical projects.

10-Ensure subcontractor compliance all electrical work due to approved drawing.

6-Preparing the realistic work schedule for new coming Electrical projects.

7-Attend the site visits for new

The engineer should be familiar with the installation of Sprinkler system 

The engineer should be familiar with the installation of Fire system

Eligible person must have worked with US Army Corps of Engineering AED on electrical projects.
