Job Summary

Chemonics International, a leading international development consulting firm, seeks an energy training specialist for an anticipated USAID-funded energy sector improvement program. The objective of the program is to improve access to reliable and affordable clean energy, improve regulations and governance in the energy sector, demonstrate the use of innovative technologies and busines models, and assist with the transition to a low-carbon development trajectory.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Training Advisor may be asked to carry out activities such as:implementing a training needs assessment to identifying appropriate training; developing and
facilitating technical assistance-related training courses as appropriate; and advising on procedures for monitoring and evaluating the impact of training efforts.

Job Requirements

Advanced degree in training and development or education
Prior international donor experience on similar projects
At least 5 years of applicable technical and professional experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
