Engineer - Electro Mechanical

Job Summary:

The mission is to proper planning and monitoring of MTNA sites across the country and ensure all sites operate maintain effectively.

Duties & Responsibilities:

 Follow up the contractors activities PMS, Alarms & replacement electrical hardware as daily basis.
 Check the performance of the contractor’s activities daily.
 Prepare schedule for site visits
 Control installation of ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) , batteries and DG parts
 Control illegal power supply from sites
 Control fuel leakage in sites if any
 Check all equipment of sites like aviation light, projector light, back up rectifier, city power, PMS (Preventive Maintenance Service)
 Prepare deliver lists of DG parts
 Check and control the DG stock in main warehouse
 Inspection of electrical and telecom parts in warehouse
 Control old equipment of sites returned to warehouse.
 Be able visit site in provinces (far remote sites in province) for any power/ telecom issues
 Be able diagnose on site and do necessary repair on service affecting till MS reach for permanent rectification
 Able to close follow up with MS for all CP & HB, illegal, fuel leakages , site acceptance , PMS performances , PM quarter visits, WO closure , spares and faulty return WH
 Generating Audit report and filling recording check lists for all site which will be visited
 Reporting log incident report monthly
 Monitoring of PM & PMS execution on sites to ensure and verifying visits by notifying recorded details date on filters all should be matching with log book which are replaced in each routine PMS deliveries
 Verification on overall control of data MS ASPs upload in PMS tools to ensure all built in parameters in tools are update date monthly
 Close follow up on WH about stack status
 Inspection & testing sites external alarms on sites plus cooling systems hardware
 Be able to complete Data base for all electro –mechanical and R& TX
 Updating all administrative files/ records weekly/monthly
 Any other task/assignment by management of division will also be add to this JD if needed

Job Requirement:

Education:
 Bachelor’s degree in Electronics
 Experience:
 3 – 5 years’ experience in electro mechanics
 Good knowledge /experience in GSM field operation and maintenance on RBS &TX; /GSM SITES
 perform sites visit in all provinces of Afghanistan
 Good know-how of MS office programs
Knowledge:
 Telecoms Network and GSM Knowledge
 Local Telecoms Legislation
 Knowledge of GSM technology
 Transmission capacity planning and dimensioning in the GSM industry
 Basic of electro –mechanical knowhow troubleshooting and operation
 Basic in power installation and maintenance
