The Event Organizer is responsible to plan, prepare, organize an event from that start to completion. The organizer should have local market knowledge to execute the event within the budget and prepare with the required materials. Among the many responsibilities one will be to have clear data, statistics and ROI of the event and follow-up on the leads.
Event planner should produce events from conception through to completion. Event organizer responsibilities include providing outstanding customer service and organizing memorable events that meet quality expectations.
Event planning, design and production while managing all project delivery elements within time limits
Organize facilities and manage all event’s details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material etc
Liaise with clients to find out their exact event requirements;
Produce detailed proposals for events (for example, timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets);
Manage and coordinate suppliers and all event logistics (for example, venue, catering, travel);
Liaise with sales and marketing teams to publicize and promote the event;
Manage all pre-event planning, e.g. organizing guest speakers and delegate packs;
Organize facilities for car parking, traffic control, security, first aid, hospitality and the media;
Oversee the dismantling and removal of the event and clear the venue efficiently;
Produce post-event evaluation to inform future events;
Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality
Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day
Research market, identify event opportunities and generate interest
5 years of experience managing events at large size organizations
Relevant educational certifications

negotiation skills when looking for the best price from venues, suppliers and contractors;
time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure to ensure the efficient running of an event;
project management experience;
problem-solving skills and diplomacy;
sales and marketing skills to promote the event and attract sponsorship;
the ability to manage budgets as you'll be responsible for event budgets;
a flexible, target-driven, proactive approach;
administrative and IT skills;
