Islamic Bank of Afghanistan has been incorporated as a banking institution under the Law of Banking applicable in Afghanistan and licensed according to the respective laws and regulations of Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB). Islamic Bank of Afghanistan is 100% subsidiary of Azizi Bank that is being operated in Afghanistan since 2009. The bank established 62 branches all over Afghanistan. It has a well-trained workforce of more than 800 employees at present. An Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive officer (CEO) provides high-level, confidential administrative support to the office of the CEO. Duties may be clerical, administrative and project-based and include scheduling travel, arranging meetings, handling information requests, preparing reports and correspondence and liaising with board members. This position is often privy to confidential information and as such, requires diplomacy and discretion.
ü Prepare and manage correspondence, reports and documents
ü Organize and coordinate meetings, conferences, travel arrangements
ü Take, type and distribute minutes of meetings
ü Implement and maintain office systems
ü Maintain schedules and calendars
ü Arrange and confirm appointments
ü Organize internal and external events
ü Handle incoming mail and other material
ü Set up and maintain filing systems
ü Set up work procedures
ü Collate information
ü Maintain databases
ü Communicate verbally and in writing to answer inquiries and provide information
ü Liaison with internal and external contacts
ü Coordinate the flow of information both internally and externally
ü Operate office equipment
ü Manage office space
ü Take part in business meeting and travel for business.

General Administrative and Clerical Tasks
· The secretary also provides general administrative and clerical tasks such as answering phones, faxing, mailing, filing and photocopying. S/he also may be required to arrange logistics for visitors, coordinate conference calls, transcribe notes and type correspondence, translation of any letters as of CEO need and requirement from English to Dari/Urdu & vise-versa
Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
ü A management / social sector related post-graduation.
ü Strong computer skills and the ability to type, manage upwards, handle confidential information and multitask.
ü Personal attributes such as discretion, a high level of professionalism, strong attention to detail, organization and written and verbal communication skills are also sought.
ü Ability to deal with people at all levels with tact and diplomacy
ü Ability to work independently with minimum instructions, multi tasks, Ability to analyze and break complex problems into smaller manageable parts.
ü Ability to work in a non-hierarchical set up
ü She may have to sit late upon the requirement of work.
ü Excellent communication and language skills.
ü Excellent English proficiency and Local languages understanding.
ü Proficient in MS Office and internet applications are required
ü Ability to multi-task without getting stressed.
