Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Doctors Without Borders) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, healthcare exclusion and natural or man-made disasters to populations in danger in more than 70 countries.
Objectives of the Position
Assist in the coordination and implementation of all activities and tools related to staff development: induction, evaluation and training.
DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES
- Follow-up on the internal and external trainings (application forms, organisational support, attendance lists, follow-up after the
- training, evaluations, centralisation of training materials)
- Assess local training institutions and establish relationship with these institutions
- Support the organisation and implementation of the Sanou Training
- Facilitate and deliver the management workshops for supervisors, and any other relevant trainings/workshops
- Coach and support supervisors with the implementation of all L&D tools and policies
- Ensure follow-up on the implementation of L&D tools and policies (where relevant) and acts as a helpdesk in case of questions or
- support needed
- Responsible for the on-going updating the training library
- Responsible for the on-going update of the L&D online tool (Dashboard )
- Assist with translation when requested
- Acts as a sounding board for national staff, address their concerns and advise the L&D department on how to solve them
- Brief new staff about MSF (history, activities, charter) and their new position
- Give regular feedback to the line manager and report directly any issue or incident
- In order to ensure the coverage of the human resources needs and maintain high standards of quality, organise and coordinate the activities of team supervised (week’s schedule, annual leave, absences, etc.), communicate with the HR Admin department all relevant information in due time, evaluate performance, define and ensure the needs for training
- Perform hands on tasks as part of the team whenever required or needed in order to optimize the resources and to contribute with his/her knowledge and experience
- Participate in monthly reports according to guidelines
Minimum Requirements and Competencies
Education
- Essential: High school diploma (12th class)
- Essential: Diploma or University degree in relevant field (Education, Learning, Communication HR/Administration)
- Essential: Proficient user of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- At least one year in similar position
- MSF experience desirable
- Essential: English: B2 upper intermediate level
- Essential: Dari/Pashtu: mother tongue
Proficient user of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
