Job Summary:

Provide technical support, in designing and implementing Food Facility Project activities, to ensure that the activities are sustainable and has a longer impact on improving the food security of the community.

Duties & Responsibilities:

•Work with the Project Manager/Project Coordinator to identify project sites and activities in the villages
•Work with the social organizers to implement the activities in a technically sound manner and to required standard
•Work with the field level staff to develop the capacity of the community for ongoing maintenance of the community facility developed through the CFW programme
•Advise the Project Manager/Coordinator and the team on required tools and equipments for the project
•Supervise and monitor the activities of the project
•Keep in regular contact with relevant authorities in the district to ensure ongoing support to the community
•Develop the capacity of the social organizers towards ensuring technical specifications of the activities
•Conduct regular reviews of the project
•Ensure that each project activity is implemented according to the project proposal and Actionaid policies
•To be responsible for programme reporting on timely basis
•To be responsible for training the social organizers on project implementation methodologies especially the technical components of the project
•Ensure that the gender mainstreaming takes place in all aspect of the project implementation
•Build an excellent rapport with the local key stakeholders of the community like the mullah, district governor, local shuras leaders and etc
•Fulfilling all the statutory requirements for implementation of the programs
•To involve CDCs and FSNs (Food Security Networks) in all activities of the project and make sure that they are in the full picture of project in the field
•Perform other related activities

Job Requirement:

•Degree in Engineering
•Have at least two years experience in mentioned position
•Experience working with communities and NGOs
•Having the ability to stay in the field office
•Understanding of financial management
•Knowledge of Ms. Office Programs
•Excellent written and verbal communication and relational skills, , especially in a cross – cultural environment
•Good report writing skills
•Problem solving skills
•Good interpersonal skill
•Gender sensitive
•Willingness to travel frequently as per requirements of the project
