Job Summary

Providing technical assistance to CDCs developing proposal of the sub projects and calculating cost of project

Duties & Responsibilities

•Facilitating CDPs (Communities Development Plan) Process with CDCs.
•CDCs sub projects survey.
•Preparing CDCs Sub Projects Proposals with all requirements.
•Designing Sub projects proposals according to NSP Technical Manual.
•Follow up of submitted proposals with district and provincial management.
•Facilitating projects materials procurements with CDCs
•Support and help CDCs in their projects implementation.
•Monitor and Evaluate CDCs sub projects according to the designed and approved proposals.
•Insuring the CDCs projects expenditures in line with NSP procurement guideline.
•Support and Facilitating social audit process in communities with Assigned community facilitator.
•Preparing projects final status report together with social organizers and CDCs
•Travel and stay night in Actionaid NSP coverage area in Sorubi.
•Facilitate smoothly NSP implementation in communities together with social organizers.
•Make good rapport with CDCs, governments and other related stakeholder

Job Requirements

•Degree in Civil or construction Engineering faculty
•Fluency in writing and speaking English and local language Pashto/Dari
•At least three yeas accumulated skills and experience in related works
•Understanding of gender rights based issues and approaches
•NSP related experience is an advantage
•Familiar with Auto Cad computer program
•Being able to prepare technical report of various projects
•Strong analytical skills
•Flexible, forward looking, open, willingness to learn new things,
•Demonstrated ability to deliver quality reports within deadline
•Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment, and establish harmonious and effective working relationships both within and outside the organization
•Being friendly with the colleagues and works best in a team
•Computer skills
•Willingness to frequently travels within Surobi district like Ozbin, Tehzin, jekdalak and Mahiper as and whenever required
