Job Summary:
The Finance Assistant is responsible for providing support in the various Finance function.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Finance Officer to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters
Matching invoices to statements and purchase orders to invoices
Input accounting data into the accounting system with speed and accuracy
Assist in the production of financial statements and applications, preparation of spreadsheets, reports and correspondence as required
Plan, organize and manage own workload to ensure your contribution to the WHH’s monthly financial reporting process is achieved in a timely and accurate manner
Ensure swift payment of invoices
Resolution of finance related queries
Writing letters to Request for check books, preparing transfer forms for bank & some other bank related issues & updated list of bank accounts and sending of monthly hard copy payroll to Bank for further process.
Coordinating with Finance Officer in financial related issues, especially regarding, taxes and other issues.
Responsible for on time delivery of semi-annual reports to Coordination office
Sending monthly Roshan post-paid bill to respective person
Supporting Finance Officer preparing semi-annual report of the related projects for MOE
Preparing the refinancing table for the salary time sheet of the related project.
Filling, labelling and copying of the financial reports. Updating the table of budget and expenditure.
Collecting of the projects EOP’s and collecting for filing for all projects.
Provide financial support to team members
Any other duties that may be deemed appropriate to this role
Job Requirement:
Qualifications and Education Requirement
Bachelor in related professional field (Accounting/BBA/Economics)
Minimum Three years’ relevant experience in Finance or Accounting, working with NGOs are preferred.
Knowledge of Accounting software.
Good English language knowledge in written and verbal communication, and fluency in Dari and or Pashto.
