Job Summary:

Duties & Responsibilities:

Under the direct supervision of Admin-Finance Manager, the Finance Assistant will support the finance department activities. This support will include but not be limited to:
 Assist the team and finance manager to prepare, monitor/track, and update FEFA’s annual, quarter, and monthly budget for its projects.
 The assistant will prepare monthly actual versus budget statement of expenditures.
 The assistant will maintain bank transaction track, records, and preparation of bank accounts reconciliations.
 Prepare regular cash flow statements and any other reports and will submit to finance manager for review.
 Check and review the documents submitted by the procurement or program sections for payments prior to the payment to take place and make sure the procedures are followed.
 Reconcile the advance payments made for the implementation of programs and procurements.
 Support finance officer regarding daily entries to Quick Books including all transactions.
 Assist the finance officer in preparing the monthly, quarterly, final, by annual reports for the ministry of economy and annual tax return for the ministry of finance (Tax department).
 Assist the manager to prepare the drawdowns for the projects to the donors.
 Any other tasks to be assigned by the manager and /or executive director.
 Follow up with the tax department.

Job Requirement:

 Bachelor’s Degree in Business administration or Finance Management from a recognized University will be preferable.
 Language ability to be fluent in Pashto, Dari and English.
 Dedicated, creative, punctual, and honest
 Excellent analytical and organizational skills
 Excellent inter-personal skills,
 Good Skills using Quick book Pro
 Good computer knowledge of (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access)
