Job Summary:

Mahbob’s Promise Afghanistan seeks a full-time Finance Officer to assist in the preparation of budgets. Managing records, reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

•   Monitors budgets and expenditures and contribute to preparation of budgets

•   Preparing Financial monthly/quarterly and yearly reports

•   Reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions

•   Preparing Financial statement on a monthly and yearly basis

•   Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters

•   Supporting the Manager and executives with projects and tasks when required

Job Requirement:

  • A self-starter, who is able to plan and manage his/her own work, takes initiative and strives to meet deadlines.


  • At least Diploma/Bachelor in Finance or Economics/Business Administration and or related field.
  • At least 3-year experience in Finance.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications, extensive knowledge of a complete package of MS Office.
  • Good English/ skills in writing, reading, and speaking
  • Daily data entry to accounting system based on standard accounting rules.
  • Organize and maintain electronic and paper base used in organization financial management including QuickBooks.
  • Strong Communication & interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility in working hours, Ability to work under pressure
