Job Summary

Plan, organize and coordinate all administrative and logistics activities concerning the complete handling of an MSF aircraft in the International Airport of Kabul in collaboration with the Flight-coordinator.


Duties & Responsibilities

-         Plan, organize and coordinate all administrative and logistics activities concerning the complete handling of an MSF aircraft in the International Airport of Kabul in collaboration with the Flight-coordinator.

-         Organize communication and operational network between MSF Air Operations / MSF in the Kabul International Airport and be the representative of MSF with all authorities involved in International Airport in collaboration with the Flight-coordinator.

-         Organize communication and operational network between MSF Air Operations / MSF and be the representative of MSF with the Civil Aviation Authorities of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and the technical departments of the AF CAA involved in our Air Operations in collaboration with the Flight-coordinator.

-         Participate actively in meetings with other Air Operators and authorities concerning safety or others and reports to the Flight-Co.

-         Provide technical and administrative support to the Flight-co in all aspects of the implementation of an MSF aircraft.

-         Participate actively in the technical organization of the flights.

-         Be the representative of MSF for the MSF passengers in the International Airport of Kabul about all flights, which transport MSF personal, and cargo.

-         Write activities and operational reports.

-         Write and collaborate in the edition of guidelines for all processes in relation to Air Operations in Afghanistan.

-         Follow and inform about the update of the AIP / NOTAM.

-         Be able to visit the field projects. 


Principal duties and responsibilities

-         The main duty is to analyze and coordinate all activities related to the air transport of PAX, cargo and other resources with MSF's aircraft, according to MSF protocols and standards, in order to give an optimal distribution service to MSF in terms of quality. 


Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements and Skills

-         Degree in aviation handling/operations or Degree in Logistics and Procurement

-         IATA Diploma in DGR (Dangerous goods regulation) cat 6 or 3 is an asset

-         NGO experience or MSF Experience desirable

-         Kabul International Airport experience

-         Experience in working with AF Civil Aviation authorities

-         Good in networking

-         Computer skills Essential

-         Excellent skills in reports redaction and analyze Clean record

-         English/Dari/Pashtu: oral and written, essential

 

 

Working hours and Salary

-         Full Time: 40 hours per week, Saturday to Wednesday (Must be flexible)

-         Gross Salary: 42,588 AFN (non-negotiable)



-         Good in networking

-         Computer skills Essential

-         Excellent skills in reports redaction and analyze Clean record
