Job Summary:
To ensure that the ITN distribution program is planned correctly and consistently implemented, monitored and supervised in the related province.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Overall responsible for Malaria projects
• Thorough supervision of day-to-day activities at provincial level, both at base and immediately adjacent province
• Establish and maintain liaise with other Principal Recipient (HNTPO), PPHD and related stakeholders in both provinces
• Oversee transparent and timely distribution of LLINs in adherence with GFR8 design
• Ensure appropriate, methodical and transparent recording and documentation system of activities
• Assist finance and accounts officer in all financial transactions related to GF grant
• Ensure collection of progress report from Sub-recipients
• Prepare time-bound progress report
• Extensive presence across the implementing provinces and districts
• Coordinate with BPHS implementers in the province
• Organize monthly and quarterly review meetings on Global Fund Projects
• Attend monthly PHCC meeting
• plan and organize the activity schedule of the program in the province
• organize and facilitate training for CHSs, CHWs, and Health facility in charge
• request for the related province the transfer of LLINs from regional ware house
Job Requirement:
• Afghan National
• University degree, MD Doctor or any other related field
• At least 2 years experience in Malaria Control Programs or Primary Health Care
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Basic knowledge of English language
• Fluent in local languages
• Good computer skills ( Ms Office )
• Able and willing to travel to different locations within the province
• To be flexible, having positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure.
