Job Summary

Sadath Business Group is Hiring! We are looking for an energetic and creative General Manager to join our team in Kabul. The General Manager is responsible for the oversight and management of SBG’s all operations in Afghanistan, ensuring that all departments can run to the best of their ability and collaborate together in a clean, safe and secure environment, providing a positive environment for other staff. Working closely with the President, CEO, Finance Manager and international team, the General Manager will focus on leading SBG team through keen management and ongoing staff development opportunities and training, enabling them to provide specific and on time report to the top management. Overall General Manager will play a key role in leading the office and project to the winning and on time successful completion stage!


Duties & Responsibilities

·        Oversee day-to-day operations

·        Design strategy and set goals for growth

·        Maintain budgets and optimize expenses

·        Set policies and processes

·        Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally

·        Oversee recruitment and training of new employees

·        Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance

·        Direct the employee assessment process

·        Prepare regular reports for top management

·        Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)

·        Take full profit & loss responsibility 

·        Coordinate employees and supervise and lead lower-level managers

·        Perform market research and complex analysis of possible opportunities

·        Provide suggestions for business growth 

·        Suggest ideas for increasing revenue 

·        Suggest improvements for employee engagement

·        Create, review and implement effective business plans

Attend meetings, trainings, seminars and conferences 


Job Requirements

Graduate of the Faculty of Engineering, department of Civil Engineer with at least BSc. Degree or Master.

To be considered for this position you will possess the following skills, attributes, and abilities:

Minimum 5 Year experience as a General Manager on construction project with USACE /

International Agencies.

The GM should have working knowledge of General Manager Procedures and practices.

College or university degree in an engineering / construction or management related

field.

Must have understanding of construction terms.

Good knowledge of construction methods and procedures.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and other related programs.

Excellent organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills.




Excellent English language proficiency & Must familiar with office packages
