Job Summary

• Repair, replace, install and maintain all electrical and mechanical components associated with the generator

Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily schedule with the Service Dispatcher

• Diagnoses causes of generator problems and/or failures

• Communicate with inside staff regarding the status of work orders for quoting

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance as scheduled

• Prepare paperwork for requesting parts needed to repair generator systems.

• Assist testing and inspection scopes

• Repair, replace, install and maintain all electrical and mechanical components associated with the generator

• Able to work competently and comfortably as an individual or as part of a team

• Take responsibility for the cleanliness of the work area at different sites

• Perform all tasks in conjunction with all applicable health and safety procedures and policies

• Any other tasks assigned by line manager

Job Requirements

• Graduated from 14th grade Technical Institute or more than 7 years related experience

• Excellent knowledge in mechanical disassembly and reassembly

• Able to complete all tasks associated with the position with minimum to no supervision

• Able to use precision measuring instruments

• Able to take direction from the Generator Specialist

• Have the applicable qualifications and training to work in potential hazardous environments including, asbestos, lead and chemicals
