Job Summary

Collecting necessary information about the field from scientific Archive directorate and GIS information System before going to the field

Duties & Responsibilities

1- Designing action plan in accordance with department’s general plan and its delivery to head of department
2- Monitoring and ensuring that plan is being implemented on time and with highest standards possible both in office and out on the field.
3- Collecting necessary information about the field from scientific Archive directorate and GIS information System before going to the field.
4- Map evaluation, and if needed changing the scale of map to be given to senior engineer
5- Analyzing field data and its implementation on different maps likes of topography map, geomorphology map, and geologic map
6- Coordination of daily affairs with directorate of geological information and GIS section
7- Assortment of filed team’s maps, reports and database related information
8- Arrangement of geomorphologic maps and earth risk management analysis
9- Arrangement of land slide maps, rock slide maps, flood, and subsidence map
10- Performing any other necessary tasks which is assigned by supervisor
11- Having discipline in performing of tasks, and having and good behavior toward colleagues

Job Requirements

University degree in Mining and Geology and any other related fields, Master’s preferable.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in related field.

Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills

Able to produce reports and other standards documents up to a professional standard Fluency in English (written and spoken), Pashto and Dari, local language proficiency is desirable.
