Priorities of MCIT:

To deliver the Telecom and IT services to remote areas throughout the country 

To supply high speed internet to the people in Afghanistan 

To design, develop and deploy the technical platform of the National Identity Card (NID) and provide ide technical assistance to the Ministry of Interior (MoI) on the successful implementation of project"

To extend the fiber optic network in the country 

To replace the existing analogue television (TV) broadcasting systems by digital TV broadcasting systems in the country and tighten regulations for broadcasting companies 

To enhance the capacity of the Afghan government by introducing the concept of e-Government and encourage all the ministries to integrate ICT within their main work  

Job Summary

·        Portfolio definitions and associated project selection techniques for the government e-Services management.

·        Planning and management of project portfolios for the e-services projects.

·        Make competencies for portfolio management for the e-services projects of the e-Gov department.

Duties & Responsibilities

·         Portfolio definitions and associated project selection techniques for the government e-Services management.

·        Planning and management of project portfolios for the e-services projects.

·        Make competencies for portfolio management for the e-services projects of the e-Gov department.

·        Prepares periodic reports.

·        Derivative projects, which are those involving only minor product and process changes for the all e-services projects of department.

·        Making Platform for projects, with medium levels of change involving development of next generation products and processes.

·        Making coordination with government and non-government organizations.

·        Sharing international knowledge and experiences about e-services for all sectors of government.

·        Develop and participate in the implementation of all government projects.

·        All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

·        Master or bachelor degree in business, economics or finance.

·        Candidate should have general knowledge in fields (Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Management Information System).

·        4Years of relevant experience in the above-mentioned fields.
