Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of Grants & Contract Management Officer She/he will undertake the following duties and responsibilities.

Duties & Responsibilities:


Review of Sub-contracts and gave feed back to the field.

Track Project expenditure with the relevant unit and give feedback to project leaders and teams.

Keep Track of Projects budget.

Certifying accuracy of progress and completion report.

Certifying accuracy of proposal narrative, estimatin part, BoQ, Budget brick down, cost brick down, work plan and social parts of the proposal.

Preparation of all related parts of proposals, completion reports and other sub-project documents as required.

Assist GCM Officer on preparation of documents for commercial contacts, agreement of cooperation (AoC) and other types of contracts.

Participation in management meeting and assist on any grant/contract management issues.

Draft Response to enquiries and field request for information.

Assisting in monitoring the progress throughout the programs phase.

Maintain accurate expenditure record of sub project as required

Preparing and submitting comparative table of pity cash.

Corrective feedback to field officer staff on managing the project at the municipal level in close partnership with communities.

Providing daily support on tiredly execution of project approval plans.

Policy level inputs.

To be involved in development and monitoring of project start up and closeout plans.

Provide direction to the field office with respect to operating issues.

Assists GCM officer to prepare guideline on documentation for quality documentation.

Assist GCM officer to prepare guideline on documentation for project team for being more transparent and accountable and to ensure that documentation developed and recoded appropriately

Assist GCM office to prepare procurement guide line on purchasing at community level.

Reporting:


Effective reporting to GCM officer on project activities and close interaction with UN-Habitat field offices.

Prepare report on sub-project statues and other related results-based reporting to GCM officer.

Coordination with field office regarding reporting of sub-project progress according to proposals.

Follow up of projects reports.

Report of GCM officer

Assist GCM officer to provide required information to related parts.
Capacity Building

Provide daily input and advice to GCM staff on better quality of related documents

Provide training on preparation sub-project proposal as required.

Job Requirement:

Required education, experience, language(s) proficiency, and preferred gender
At least a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, or related field.
At least five years of experience in technical overview of sub project progress report and proposals.
