Grants Coordinator is responsible for the management support of the â€œGrantsâ€ component of ASMED activities. After identification of grant recipients she/he will be processing different grants documentation, and will be in close communication with Grants Manager to make sure each grant document is complete and in compliance with regulations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
â€¢ Assist Implementation Manager in research activities (Internet etc.). The Grants dept. will work as a team with consultants and regular short-term technical assistants to achieve the desired goal.
â€¢ Assist grantees in writing/editing grants applications
â€¢ S/he will have to closely cooperate with ASMEDâ€™s Regional Offices in the provinces.
â€¢ Work with ASMEDâ€™s clients (Grantees)
â€¢ Review and provide recommendations for improvement of various implementation activities under the grants programs
â€¢ Work closely with the Implementation Manager for implementation/processing of the grants
â€¢ Assist in grantee monitoring visitation
â€¢ Maintain the grants financial tracker for grants disbursements and definition of milestones
â€¢ Maintain and keep TAMIS current at all times
â€¢ Maintain and update the Grants Tracker
â€¢ Monitor and maintain the grantee visitation tracker.
â€¢ Keep the hard copy files updated with all the grantee agreements, amendments, monthly, financial reports correspondence and other reports as necessary.
â€¢ Keep track of all the deliverables and report on status on regular basis.
â€¢ Make sure the grantees clear their advances before releasing their next payment
â€¢ Work closely with Associations and GDA Specialists and MDG managers in the grants closeout.
â€¢ Any other task assigned by the Contracts and Grants Manager.
â€¢ University graduates preferred
â€¢ Excellent English language skills (both written and spoken)
â€¢ Preferably Dari and Pashto fluency
â€¢ Computer literate with Microsoft Office
â€¢ Minimum 2 years working experience in the field;
â€¢ Able to pay close attention to detail
â€¢ Highly organized
