Our company is seeking a Graphic Designer to assist in day-to-day design projects for the Communications and Promotions Division. This position will be responsible for assisting team members in designing branded marketing communications for its brand, including but not limited to industry print pieces, presentation tools, signage, business cards, letterhead and promotional materials.
The Graphic Designer must have extensive graphic experience, including mastery of the Adobe Creative programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. The applicant must be able to prioritize work and effectively manage multiple projects; communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels of employees; work independently as well as collaboratively within a multi-discipline team environment; work well under pressure in meeting deadlines; exhibit sound judgment in making decisions; and maintain confidentiality on sensitive matters. Experience in advertising, creative development and proficiency in graphic design software is required.
Provinces to travel:
1. Excellent oral and written communication in Dari, Pashto & English.
Demonstrates strong knowledge with MS-Office suite of software applications and tools, including: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and MS. Project, MS-Outlook, InDesign, Photoshop, illustrator, XTML
Above average personal computing skills, backed up by disciplined sales force automation habits and experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Design printed marketing materials such as catalog, brochures, banners, graphics, signage, etc.
Design social media graphics - this may include digital display banners, social media content, profile pictures and cover photos, simple photo editing, landing pages
Design email graphics and templates with an emphasis on mobile design (responsive newsletters).
Design web graphics and update website when necessary.
Create and edit simple landing pages.
Collaborate with Business development team to meet goals and project deadlines.
Attend product photo shoots and assist with setup, staging, and editing/retouching of photos.
Cooperate with printers and other external vendors.
Ability to work on multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
Maintain brand DNA while evolving brand aesthetic across all visual channels.
Collaborative and team-oriented with excellent oral/written communications skills.
Perform any other tasks assigned by line manager.
Job Location:Afghanistan, Kabul
Degree in design-related field or equivalent working experience.
Fluent in a variety of digital delivery formats. Mastery of design software, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and HTML with a portfolio demonstrating responsive digital design for web and emails, motion graphics, social media platforms, PPT.
Bonus if you are a great writer or have experience in photo styling.
Able to fluently communicate in Pashto, Dari & English.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position, and regular hours of work and days are Saturday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.; however, this position can regularly require long hours and frequent weekend work.
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected. The position also requires travel to provinces and outside countries.
