The Graphic Designer/Creative at Aria Medica will be responsible to develop creative and innovative designs for Offset Printing, Billboard Advertising, Digital Printing advertisements. The graphic designer creates a wide variety of layouts, package designs, logos and illustrations as well as work on re-branding Aria Medica’s company profile including logo. He/she incorporates design elements such as color , typography and images. In addition, he/she may use several image editing and digital animation software programs to create their designs.
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for undertaking the following tasks and responsibilities in a professional manner.
Suggests new, creative and innovative designs, scheme and illustrate offsetting printing materials such as promotional materials, newspapers, brochures, leaflets, posters, business cards, calendars and other printing materials. The designer will also work with pharmaceutical team to design and brand pharmaceutical products.
Design digital printing materials such billboards, pole signs and roll-up banners.
Study details about ads and use his/ her creativity and artistry to prepare attention grabbing designs which suits the client requirements.
Illustrate and design concepts mutually agreed upon by designing rough layout of art and obtain approval for concepts by submitting rough layout. The communications team will provide the GD with ideas and concepts to further develop and visualize the designs.
Develop concepts, and design graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company brandings/re-brandings, social media and company’s website.
Determine size and arrangement of illustrative materials.
Review final layouts and suggest improvements if required.
Liaise with printing companies on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and materials are print to the highest quality. The designer will also be responsible for quality proof confirmation.
Employ color, type, illustration, photography, animation, and various print and layout techniques to design a project and all other related work in the designing and printing sections. He/She must also be professional in photography as some materials will not be possible to visualize and illustrate.
Determine and develop the designs to the best that matches the message/marketing campaign objectives.
Present concepts and designs to the technical team within Comms department. The GD will also be responsible to provide monitoring and evaluation team with inputs for pre and post-testings of products.
Incorporate changes recommended by communications and other related departments into the final designs
Build a strong working relationship with Aria Medica’s related departments to deliver and plan services.
Build a strong and mutually respectful relationship with the company’s operation departments and other relevant departments within the company.
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science and preference will be given to applicants with relevant degree in Designing. Moreover, certificate from other art and designing courses is advantageous.
The incumbent should have knowledge of brand development and management with at least 3 years of experience in graphic design.
