About NATO Afghanistan - Resolute Support :

 

Resolute Support is a NATO-led, non-combat mission. It was launched on January 1, 2015, following the conclusion of the previous NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) mission, and the assumption of full security responsibility by the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF). Its purpose is to help the Afghan security forces and institutions develop the capacity to defend Afghanistan and protect its citizens in a sustainable manner. The mission performs supporting functions in several areas. These include: operational planning; budgetary development; force generation process; management and development of personnel; logistical sustainment; and civilian oversight (in order to ensure the Afghan security forces and institutions act in accordance with the rule of law and good governance).

Job Summary:

The incumbent will provide training assistance to gym patrons and supervised minor equipment maintenance for all HQ RS fitness equipment and facilities.

Skills Description:

Duties & Responsibilities:

Provides training and basic PT lessons to all HQ RS personnel in close cooperation the incumbent will provide assistance to gym patrons during their daily training.

Replace the chief PTI when the chief PTI is unavailable.

Responsible for overall gym maintenance.

Performs escort duties for authorized gym visitors.

In conjunction with the PTI Assistant, is responsible for the storage room and balance lists.

Performs other duties as required.

The incumbent may be required to perform duties as directed by the Chief MWA.

Camp RS MWA Fitness Facility.

This position involves working until 2100 hours if required.

Job Location:

Afghanistan, Kabul

Qualifications:

General experience and knowledge in gym practices and procedures.

Knowledge/experience in cleaning, repairing and maintaining fitness center equipment such as treadmills, cycles and weight lifting equipment. Experience cleaning and maintaining gym equipment.

2 years’ experience instructing physical training.


Language: English: Good level of written and spoken language skills. Note: The work both oral and written in this post and in this Headquarters as a whole is conducted mainly in English.


DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Formal education in physical training.

Knowledge of rules for a variety of sports.

Experience as a referee.

Able to work until 2100 hours if required.

Benefit Package:

Monthly salary of € 827.00 Meal Allowance of € 185.00 per month
