Job Summary

The HMIS officer / Supervisor is responsible to collect health service delivery data in accordances to the formats developed and approved by the MoPH. He needs to record all the health data into computer analyze data and provide feedbacks to health facilities. He needs to prepare charts and graphs to present the progress of the project and should well understand the project indicators. He is responsible to directly report to project manager

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Monthly report collection from the Health Facilities
2. Check reports for correctness
3. Data entry of the reports from health facilities in the database
4. Analysis of report
5. Provision of on time feedback to the health facilities
6. Data dissemination
7. Supervision and monitoring of the health facilities
8. Share analyzed data with technical committee on monthly basis
9. Provide data for quarterly reporting
10. Participate in CAAC survey, LQAS survey.
11. Conduct HMIS refresher trainings
12. Ensure provision of HMIS guidelines to the health facilities
13. Submission and participate in process of HMIS tools printing
14. HMIS report tracking
15. Submission of reports to Project Office and PHD.

Job Requirements

1. Medical Doctor graduated from a recognized university
2. Minimum two years experience in HMIS
3. Computer skills in Ms-Office
4. Can speak Pashto fluently
5. Ability to identify project weaknesses and gaps and to take proper action
6. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work and deal successfully in a multi-cultural environment is required
7. Can travel to the project related health facilities in Paktia.
