The Human Resources Coordinator will provide direct support and assist the Capacity Building Specialist (CBS) and Operations Manager in day to day responsibilities in the management and administration of human resources for ASMED. Specifically, the HR Coordinator will be responsible for managing human resources, and capacity building trainings; coordinates the annual performance management and salary review process; coordinates policy communication and administration as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
â€¢ HR Management
a) Providing guidance on disciplinary, grievance and absence, employment agreement, remuneration, and policies and procedures.
b) Processing employment agreements and employment agreement termination and agreement non renewal notices
â€¢ HR Administration
a) Serves as primary coordinator on HR needs and development to include local national personnel and payroll systems and HR administration processing.
b) Maintaining HR databases including all aspects of HR database administration
c) Administering leave plans, preparing, collecting and certifying Employee Attendance documentation
d) Organizing and arranging all requests for professional allowances for submission to the approval committee and submitting these requests to ASMED Finance Department.
e) Organizing all Medical and Transportation allowances for all National Staff on a monthly basis
f) Ensures compliance with ASMED National Staff Compensation plan
a) Serves as primary coordinator on AMSED local national staff recruitment needs to include but not limited to advertising vacancies, receiving applications, reviewing applications, selecting candidates, interviewing candidates, hiring new staff members, etc.
b) Supports CBS in the review, development and implementation of recruitment policies and procedures to ensure compliance with DAI and USAID policies and procedures.
c) Managing Recruitment action list on a day to day basis and making weekly updates on the recruitment status
â€¢ International assignment client manager and support
a) Serves as the primary client manager for international staff on a local level
b) Coordinates mobilization and demobilization activities on a local level
a) Serves a primary coordinator and facilitator for all HR related trainings for local national staff.
b) Assist CBS in training support in other human resource and administration areas.
â€¢ Performance Management and Evaluation
a) Serves a primary coordinator for annual performance and evaluation process for local national staff
b) Keeping track of performance evaluation dates for Local National Staff
â€¢ Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management or other related field.
â€¢ At least 2 years of work experience in human resources administration within an international donor organization, preferably on an USAID project.
â€¢ Experience working in an international environment.
â€¢ Strong working knowledge of human resources policies and procedure.
â€¢ Proficiency in MS Office.
â€¢ Strong oral/written communication skills.
â€¢ Strong organizational skills.
