Job Summary:

Job Summary:

• Develops, advises on and implements policies relating to the effective use of personnel within an organization.
• Providing support in the various human resource functions, which include
• Recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance monitoring and
• Employee counseling.

Immediate Level Subordinates:

• Deputy Manager (HR)
• Officer (HR)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervise and implement the HR Policy and practices and proceed the recruitment process;
• Supervise the recruitment and Selection proceeds transparently and soundly;
• Prepare and project AISA staffing for coming year(Human Resource Planning);
• Assist the Finance Manager in estimating/preparing AISA annual budget;
• Prepare appraisal for staff on quarterly and annual basis;
• Supervise and assist the immediate level subordinate;
• Control and supervise the employee’s annual leave and attendance sheet.
• Perform daily inquires, proposal, and other required activities.
• Formulate employee’s personal profile (Hiring, promotion, transfer and increase of salary etc).
• Supervision of logistic activities and as well as office maintenance.
• Research and monitor human resource systems in other organizations within the community.
• Promote workplace safety.
• Monitor daily attendance.
•Investigate and understand causes for staff absences.
• Recommend solutions to resolve chronic attendance difficulties.
• Provide basic counseling to staff that have performance related obstacles.
• Provide advice and recommendations on disciplinary actions.
• Monitor scheduled absences such as holidays or travel and coordinate actions to ensure the staff absence has been adequately covered off to ensure continuity of services.
• Inform affected staff or residents of unexpected absences from work and coordinate actions ensuring the continuity of services such as cancellation of events and locating keys.
• Any other task as assigned by Vice President Administration

Job Requirement:

• BBA or University Degree in Public Administration.
• Minimum five year of progressive working experience in HR/Personnel administration.
