Job Summary:
A leading bank in Afghanistan announces a major growth opportunity for talented, ambitious and career oriented HR Directors
The desired candidate will supervise all of the bank’s human resource activities and allocate specific tasks to the HR managers. He/she will be responsible for recruiting all international staff including interview process, design of compensation packages (including salary). HR Director will report directly to CEO and will be responsible for maintaining the core corporate culture and values among its staff and personnel.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Development and implementation of HR functions, policies, procedures in alignment with legal requirements and government policies
• Supervising the planning and conducting new employee orientations and encouraging positive and progress oriented behavior for new employees
• Making a formal introduction of team in new employee orientations
• Trains and Monitors management in appropriate solutions for potential employee related issues (e.g. harassment and conflicts)
• Monitors the establishment and administration of performance review programs to promote progress, effectiveness and compliance with corporate laws/ procedures and to further encourage employee motivation
• Administers salary and benefit package programs to ensure compliance within the company
• Draft and outline pension plans, vacations, sick leave, leave without pay, maternity/ paternity leave and other employee assistance programs
• Overviews all the budget report and financial planning of the HR budget
• Reports directly to CEO
Job Requirement:
• Experience: 5to 6 years experience in Human Resource Management
• Education: Master’s degree in either Management or HRM
• Skills: Good managerial and communication skills. Good team leader. Role model for all HR Team. Strong writing skills. Good computer knowledge
• Languages: English and Dari (Pashto is strongly recommended)
