Job Summary:

A leading bank in Afghanistan announces a major growth opportunity for talented, ambitious and career oriented HR Managers.

The desired candidate will manage all of the bank’s human resource activities which will include development and implementation of HR policies and procedures and ensuring alignment of policies with the government laws and regulations. He/she should be able to manage national and international staff with a result oriented ambition. He/she will further ensure on time payment and management of salaries, benefit packages and other compensation benefits.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Development and implementation of HR functions, policies, procedures in alignment with legal requirements and government policies
• Recruitment, interviewing, testing and selection of employees for vacant positions
• Planning and conducting new employee orientations and encouraging positive and progress oriented behavior for new employees
• Specifying corporate goals and policies to new and current employees
• Trains and Monitors management in appropriate solutions for potential employee related issues (e.g. harassment and conflicts)
• Establishes and administers performance review programs to promote progress, effectiveness and compliance with corporate laws/ procedures and to further encourage employee motivation
• Administer salary and benefit package programs to ensure compliance within the company
• Draft and outline pension plans, vacations, sick leave, leave without pay, maternity/ paternity leave and other employee assistance programs
• Prepares budget reports for human resource operations
• Prepares monthly reports of HR activities for HR Director and CEO

Job Requirement:

• Experience: 4 to 5 years experience in Human Resource Management
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in either Management or HRM (minimum)
• Skills: Good managerial and communication skills, strong computer knowledge and a result oriented team player
• Languages: English and Dari (Pashto is strongly recommended)
