Founded:  

The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock is a key ministry of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan that aims to develop the agriculture, irrigation and livestock of the rural and urban communities. The Ministry is expected to lay the foundations for a long-term strengthening of local agriculture, to promote governance, to rebuild social capital and leadership within villages and neighborhoods, and to provide assistance for rehabilitation and development to communities

Job Summary:

The incumbent will be responsible for performing Human Resource Management Activities in HR directorate and he/she will report to his report line manager and work under the direct supervision of HR relevant manager. The incumbent will perform but not limited to

Duties & Responsibilities:

Maintain and update employee Personal Files regularly and ensure Personal File requirements are met properly;

Work with the recruitment team in the implementation of projects’ recruitment plan

Ensure that recruitment files are prepared according to the proposed checklist and perform quality control check for each file

Assist all department in preparing job description for new positions or in the revision of old ones if needed

Assist in conducting performance appraisal and provide appropriate feedback to projects/directorates for performance improvement planning

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual progress report highlighting the achievements, challenges, lessons learnt and recommendations for the following year.

Assist capacity building section in the implementation of its capacity building plan and carrying out of TNA.

Participate in informing candidates for written tests/interview and conducting

written tests and interview for vacant positions

any other task assigned by line supervisor



Job Requirement:

University Degree. With Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Human resource management and Public Administration

Fluent in English, Dari and Pashto languages

Excellent Computer Skills, Microsoft Office Package
