Job Summary

The ICT Officer will provide technical support in IT field to all NPA staff. The ICT Officer will report to the Administrative and Operation Specialist. The Senior ICT Officer should be committed to helping all NPA personnel and find new innovative approaches and apply new technologies. His/her duties and responsibilities will be but not limited to

Duties & Responsibilities

Focus on analyzing problems, finding and delivering permanent solutions to problems occurring on regular basis.
To make sure all ICT equipment are functional.
To arrange to repair the ICT equipment in market in case it cannot be repaired in office
Filling the ICT item damage report.
Support implementation of modern information technology techniques to reduce ORGANIZATION technology cost.
Make sure quality INTERNET SERVICES PROVIDED to the all staff.
Upgrade existing technology with government level standards.
Prepare technical specification for procurement of new equipment.
Assist asset management team in managing existing IT assets.
To update and upload the DOCUMENTS to the websites of the NPA.
Regular service and maintenance of ICT Accessories in quarterly.
To provide hardware and SOFTWARE TECHNICAL SUPPORT to all NPA staff.
To INSTALL, set up and certify compliance with standards and specifications of new hardware and software in offices
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION
Bachelors Degree in ICT, Computer Science or any other related fields.

Work Experience
Must have at least 4 years of relevant experience working with INGOs or government organizations.
Language Requirement
Must be proficient in writing, reading and speaking in English. Must also have strong communication, reading and writing skills in one of the national languages (Dari or Pashto)
Key Competencies

1. Must have Demonstrated knowledge and experience in IT.
2. Experience in designing and managing LAN, digital systems, wireless APPLICATIONS, website design, web casting, database design, and intranet.
3. Considerable interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
