About Actionaid International

Job Summary

Provide overall leadership to the organization in the development of monitoring and evaluation systems and processes for programs and projects in line with the thematic strategy/areas.

Duties & Responsibilities

•Ensure quality assurance during documentation and reporting in all projects and selected case stories and models and integration of lessons learnt into future programming
•Prepare annual program report in line with Accountability Learning and Planning System (ALPS) and other organizational policies
•Build the capacity of staff and partners in development and implementation of M and E systems in line with the organizational strategy and policies.
•ALPS, Participatory Reflection and Review Process (PRRP) roll-out and implementation in ActionAid Afghanistan.
•Developing monitoring and evaluation tools and training the project teams on methods and approaches for monitoring and impact assessment.
•Carrying monitoring and evaluation visits in ActionAid Afghanistan Projects/ programs.
•Providing and circulation of all assessment reports to relevant function and management along with feedbacks and recommendations,
•Coordination of projects final impact assessment/ evaluation and sharing the lessons learnt.
•Coordination and Management of ActionAid Afghanistan projects/ programs data base.
•To undertake any other reasonable task as and when requested by the line manger or/and ActionAid Afghanistan management.
•Dealing with Statuary reporting requirements to Asia Regional office, Government of Afghanistan (All Ministries).
•Any other responsibility assigned by the line manager as and when required

Job Requirements

•Degree in Social Science or related field.

•Fluency in writing and speaking English and local language Dari/Pashto.

•At least three yeas accumulated skills and experience in Impact Assessment or Monitoring and Evaluation works.

•Planning and budgeting.

•Documentation, and Information management.

•Training and development.

•Understanding of gender rights based issues and approaches.

•Strong analytical skills.

•Flexible, forward looking, open, willingness to learn new things.

•Demonstrated ability to deliver quality reports within deadline.

•Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment, and establish harmonious and effective working relationships both within and outside the organization.

•Being friendly with the colleagues and works best in a team.

•Computer skills.

•Willingness to travel outside the city or sometimes out of the country as and when needed.
