About AISA

Job Summary

• Design, implement various research in the industry sector
• Write various kinds of reports
• Update sectoral investment opportunities/challenges for the web-sites
• Industry Sector include but not limited to: Mining, Manufacturing and Construction

Duties & Responsibilities

• Collect secondary data from relevant sectoral organization/ministries
• Conduct action research to collect more sectoral information to identify investment opportunities/challenges
• Develop questionnaires, collect data, analyse data and interpret data for various investment opportunities
• Provide update , accurate information for the websites and other stakeholders about that sector
• Develop data model describing data elements and how they are used.
• Providing the Research Department with all the necessary information they are looking for regarding the registered investors.
• Contributing to the Investor Directory design, drafting and publication.
• Making the quarterly reports to the Central Bank of Afghanistan.
• Making the reports for Afghanistan Revenue Department (Ministry of Finance).
• Plan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard information in computer files against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure.
• Other related functions as prescribed.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in economics/commerce/agriculture economics/social sciences is preferred with a minimum of two years experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

As assigned by the department manager

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interprets common scientific and technical journals. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries of Investors. Ability to effectively present information to the top management, middle management and to various clients.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions, diagram, charts and various statistical tools to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems, and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
