Duties & Responsibilities:
Summary:
Performs the audits in a professional manner and in accordance with the approved audit program.
Analyzing and assessing the effectiveness and efficiency of the operational systems and processes.
Ensuring the reliability of financial reporting.
Evaluate and examine the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and systems to protect FINCA Afghanistan assets and resources.
Job Description
Determines the auditing procedures to be used.
Notifies the Corporate Audit Manager of any control system weakness or breakdown.
Prepares formal written reports, expressing opinions on the adequacy and effectiveness of the system and the efficiency with which activities are carried out.
Appraise the adequacy of the corrective action taken to improve deficient conditions.
Prepare internal audit reports completed on the branches and present to Corporate Audit Manager.
Prepare comprehensive written reports outlining audit findings, control weaknesses, observations and remedial actions and recommendations that should be taken.
Follow-up to determine adequacy of corrective actions along with recommendations for further improvements.
Conduct audit follow up visits to branches to follow up on the implementation of earlier findings.
Perform any other relevant duty assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirement:
At least two years of professional accounting or auditing experience.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business management
Fluency in Dari, Pashtu, and English.
Good communication skills
Experience with use of computers and familiar with Microsoft Office programs
Accuracy, attention to detail, commitment to transparency.
Ability to learn quickly, strong self-training readiness.
