To provide a clean environment for LGCD guesthouse occupants and sanitary and tasty food.
Duties & Responsibilities:
â€¢ Monitor and maintain guest house food, soft drink, and water supply for occupants of Guesthouse #3, making purchases on request of the occupants
â€¢ Cook dinner for international staff and guest house guests at Guesthouse #3 around 07:00 pm. Saturday through Thursday.
â€¢ If requested, on Thursdays cook enough meals for guest house occupants for reheating on Fridays
â€¢ Ensure that all food is prepared in a sanitary and appealing manner.
â€¢ Provide a variety of cuisines, and also follow the requests of the guesthouse occupants.
â€¢ Clean guest house kitchen and dining room after every meal
â€¢ Supervise all aspects of the cleaning and maintenance of the guesthouse.
â€¢ Minimum High School Diploma.
â€¢ Guest house management.
â€¢ At least 3 â€“ 4 years work experience in cooking international food, preferably with international donor-funded projects, UN agencies or NGOâ€™s on relevant programs in Afghanistan.
â€¢ Able to speak English as medium level and Pashto/ Dari as native language level.
â€¢ Able to work extra hours as/when needed.
