Job Summary

To provide a clean environment for LGCD guesthouse occupants and sanitary and tasty food.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain guest house food, soft drink, and water supply for occupants of Guesthouse #3, making purchases on request of the occupants
• Cook dinner for international staff and guest house guests at Guesthouse #3 around 07:00 pm. Saturday through Thursday.
• If requested, on Thursdays cook enough meals for guest house occupants for reheating on Fridays
• Ensure that all food is prepared in a sanitary and appealing manner.
• Provide a variety of cuisines, and also follow the requests of the guesthouse occupants.
• Clean guest house kitchen and dining room after every meal
• Supervise all aspects of the cleaning and maintenance of the guesthouse.

Job Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma.
• Guest house management.
• At least 3 – 4 years work experience in cooking international food, preferably with international donor-funded projects, UN agencies or NGO’s on relevant programs in Afghanistan.
• Able to speak English as medium level and Pashto/ Dari as native language level.
• Able to work extra hours as/when needed.
