Interview/Counseling Officer will be working under the day to day supervision of ESC Manager and under the overall responsibility of Program Coordinator/ Program Director.
The duration of the assignment will be 12 months and will involve the following activities:
Duties & Responsibilities:
a. Review of vacant posts sent to Employment Services Center by other firms
b. Review of job seekers CVs and comparing them with announced posts.
c. Making contact with job seekers and scheduling interview with them.
d. Sending a copy of qualified applicant CVs through official letter to employer agencies.
e. Providing required consultations to job seekers when CVs are not complying with due conditions
f. Carry out other duties as may be assigned by the higher authorities.
a. Bachelor’s degree with 4 years’ experience in the related field.with a private sector, government agency or any national or international NGO in human resource development and employment services;
b. Ideally, experience working within the labor and employment services sector of the Government of Afghanistan;
c. Effective communication and interpersonal skills including (i) a full working knowledge of English (ii) fluency in one national language and good reading, writing, listening and speaking skill in the other and (iii), the ability to interact and coordinate with NSDP staff, contractors, Government officials, consultants and the World Bank staff
