First year program activities will be carried out in Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman and Kandahar.

Job Summary:

Responsible for the EDC's Inventory Management.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Documents and enters data into inventory management system.
• Tracks and coordinates the movement of company property.
• Performs inventory reconciliations against the automated database.
• Assists in developing processes and procedures for monitoring the issuance of materials and equipment.
• Ensures proper classification of company property and that it is adequately stored.
• Performs routine physical inventory at various company locations as required.
• Maintains records and databases.
• Prepares various reports and forms.
• Tracks issuance of materials from the warehouse/stores.
• Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, and/or supplies stocked at company and/or items to be returned.
• Maintains an accurate inventory count of all product(s) warehoused on daily, weekly and/or monthly format as required.
• Ensures that all goods are brought into inventory accurately.
• Provides regular inventory status reports, as appropriate.
• Maintains records of equipment acquisitions, locations and transfers.
• Records and maintains data recording using a tracking and monitoring system regarding the pick up, inventory, storing and distribution of supplies.

Job Requirement:

High School Diploma, plus minimum of three years’ experience with inventory management systems as well as storage.
• Materials management and inventory control.
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must demonstrate strong attention to detail.
• Cataloguing and inventory techniques and knowledge of shipping and receiving practices.
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Access) and databases.
• A good mathematical aptitude, including the ability to perform calculations associated with addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
• Must have demonstrated organizational capacity.
