Job Summary

The Investment Officer is responsible in investment division to assess and make analyze about customer credit applications using a range of criteria including purpose of application, credit viability, and customer payment history and customer credit-worthiness

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Gathering information regarding the investment client
2. Reading financial briefings (financial statements)
3. Assessing, analyzing and interpreting complicated financial information
4. Undertaking risk assessment analysis
5. Visiting clients / investment customers (if needed to travel as well)
6. Keeping company credit exposures within set risk bearing limits
7. Using credit-scoring systems for small credit amounts (such as small unsecured personal loans)
8. Keeping knowledge of key issues up-to-date (for example legal, market risk and compliance issues)
9. Helping to enhance the quality of credit applications
10. Monitoring of the clients on quarterly basis or if needed for any urgent issue
11. Responsible for preparing all chart/loan documents
12. Responsible for recording of all investment document
13. License expiry follow up
14. Collecting all required documents from the investment client
15. Marketing for clean and potential investment customers
16. Responsible for loan and recovery of the investment clients
17. Providing Non – Funded Facilities (i.e. Bank Guarantees and Letter of Credit)
18. Reporting to line Manager /Investment Manager
19. Any other tasks which will be given by the authority of the bank or the line manager.

Job Requirements

Bachelor degree in economics will be Preferred

Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in Credit Department

Excellent communication skills/customer services skills

Ability to prepare loan/investment proposals and other documents

Best communication skills especially in English (reading, writing, listening and speaking)

Ability to present loan proposals for the related committee

Computer and especially office program knowledge

Site visiting and monitoring skills

Team work abilities

In case of need traveling to other provinces whenever required in order to monitor and inspect the loan cases
