افغان تیلی کام در 13 ستامبر سال 2005 میلادی به حیث یک شرکت مکمل مخابراتی عرض وجود نمود. شرکت افغان تیلی کام در بدو تأسیس به یگانه شرکت که خدمات موبائیل GSM/3G سلام ، خدمات فایبرنوری ، خدمات تلیفون های دیجیتال لیندار، خدمات انترنیت DSL ، خدمات انترنت وایکمس ، خدمات انترنت Dial Up و خدمات VCN را در سطح کشور تهیه میدارد مبدل ګردیده است. علاوه برین، افغان تیلی کام یگانه شرکت مخابراتی است که شبکه مخابراتی تمامی دوایر دولتی بشمول تمام وزارت خانه ها و سایر دفاتر دولتی را تهیه میدارد که شامل خدمات مخابرۀ صوتی، انترنت و سهولت ویدو کانفرانس برای این دوایر میباشد و فعالیت مخابراتی شرکت افغان تیلی کام نیز از جانب وزارت مخابرات دولت جمهوری اسلامی افغانستان تصویب گردیده است. افغان تیلی کام 155 شهر های کوچک و بزرگ و 34 ولایت کشور را تحت پوشش قرار داده و به زودی تمامی 355 ولسوالی های کشور را نیز تحت پوشش قرارخواهد داد.

Job Summary

The IP Operation Snr Engineer, is a team oriented individual willing to be part of a 24/7 operation performing functions such as planning, designing, provisioning, implementing, documenting, troubleshooting, monitoring, operating and maintaining IP, MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) and DCN (Data Communication Network) networks, including their routers, switches, servers, firewalls and diverse tools on an ISP (Internet Service Provider) environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

·      Develop quarterly, Semi-annual and Annual Plan in compliance with the organizational plan.

·      Review traffic graphs and alarms of backbone, customers, peers and upstream provider’s circuits to investigate, take action, document events and follow up.

·      Attend, troubleshoot and document customers and other offices, calls and e-mails when reporting issues with their service.

·      Troubleshoot daily activities and issues of the core network.

·      Alarm setup/processes/review/resolution.

·      Device hardware/software maintenance and upgrades.

·      Perform bandwidth upgrades and downgrades of circuits.

·      Familiar with BGP / ISIS / RIP and OSPF networking protocols.

·      Manage and supervise the BGP routing table and BGP peering with upstream, route leaking.

·      Process new IP route advertisement requests (prefix/AS-PATH) for IP customers in routers and with upstream providers.

·      Perform balance of all customers’ traffic within our upstream circuits based on cost and contracted rates.

·      Install and upgrade concept, process, and management of Network devices.

·      Develop, manage, and test back-up and recovery plans and work on Inventory DB.

·      Ensure that storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly.

·      Communicate regularly with technical, applications, and operational staff to ensure network migration, integrity, and security.

·      Perform any other task assigned by the Line manager.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies or related field, (Masters Preferred).

·      CCNA/CCNP is must.

·      CCIE /HCIE is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working in same positions as IT application engineer, software development.

Skills Required:

·      Must have the knowledge and hands-on experience on MPLS, L2VPN, L3VPN, QoS, Traffic engineering, MPBGP, etc.

·      Must have hands-on knowledge of firewalls like Cisco and Huawei.

·       Should know networking architect and provide solutions on required bases.

·      Should be familiar with RFC and Standard ISO standards

·      Good communication behavior skills and work ethics.
