The purpose of this position is to maintain and solve day to day IT problems
and keep informed the IT Coordinator in ensuring that the Information Technology (IT) System
in Jawzjan PSU is functioning smoothly and efficiently in compliance with ActionAid Afghanistan
IT strategy/policy as well as ActionAid International standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1.Help users in day to day IT problems such as internet using, printing to network printer, salvaging deleted files,
2.Advise users and induct new users to follow AA Afghanistan IT polices and guidelines and help users to understand IT policy
3.Coordinate various IT training programs for Shebargan staff.
4.Keep a log of users complaints and support/solution provided.
5.Provide technical support for the use of AA Afghanistan corporate software such as SUN, NK, Intranet, etc. including installation, configuration, back up etc.
6.Perform all IT related procurements and maintain purchase registers for hardware and software procurements.
7.Maintain IT inventory and update inventory list and keep track of all projects IT equipments.
8.Monitors and maintains the use of software and hardware system as well as install and configure hardware equipments e.g. printers, scanners, desktop computers and copiers.
9.Regular visit to field offices as required.
10.Maintains excellent communication with IT Assistants for all tasks and project.
11.Send regular IT reports or updates to your Line Manager / IT Coordinator
12.Coordination with ISP for any problems arose.
13.Any other duties assigned by respective supervisor.
â€¢High School Graduate is must and Bachelor degree in IT is preferable.
â€¢MCSE and CCNA and knowledge of Outlook configuration
â€¢At least 2 years experiences working in IT field.
â€¢Knowledge of hardware and able to solve simple hardware problems;
â€¢Knowledge of applications software
â€¢Good interpersonal skill;
â€¢Good Language skill in both English and Local languages;
â€¢Be able to work independently as well as in a team;
