Job Summary:

Main Purpose of the Post:

The Information Technology Department is responsible to developing, delivering and maintaining information, management and communication technology capabilities using Microsoft products and solutions particularly in the area of Office Automation, Messaging and Networking.

The person will be responsible to provide day to day support and maintenance activities for IT equipment eg. Desktop, printer, networking and Office Automation Application

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Troubleshoot user level computer problems and assist them in using computer applications
2. Perform regular check up of all computers to make sure they are virus free and not having unauthorized program
3 Perform routine maintenance and user file backups and provide technical assistance to all office staff and assist them in network access, printing and usage of application software.
4. Assist to optimize existing resources and increase the overall efficiency of LAN and WAN
5. Perform repair work of faulty IT equipment
6. Set up e-mail system IDs for users
7. Evaluating user needs and functionality
8. Plan and execute project assigned by Superior

Job Requirement:

• Language requirements: English, Dari and Pashto
• Computer knowledge requirements – Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange 2003
• Abilities and personal traits the candidate must possess to better do this job such as ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, tact, negotiation skills, organizational skills etc.
