The IT Manager has overall responsibility for managing all the IT needs and functions of the ACB. The position is a hands-on job – involving planning as well as basic maintenance. The Manager’s primary responsibility will be to proactively manage the ACB’s strategic, tactical and routine IT needs on a daily basis. The Manager will ensure that these needs are all met effectively as personal duties.
The Procurement Manager will report to Chief Operation Officer (COO).
Duties & Responsibilities:
Networking and Systems
The ongoing design, implementation, administration and maintenance of the ACB’s internal and external networking infrastructure including, but not limited to, the following:
o Troubleshooting system and network problems
o Diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults
o Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications
o Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
o Recommending upgrades and improvements to the IT systems of the ACB
o Maintenance including physical repairs and replacing parts as required
o Systems backups
o Archiving staff data on the central server
Staff IT Support
Ensuring that all and any ACB staff members’ IT problems are dealt with in a professional and timely manner
Helping staff to help set up systems or resolve issues
Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues
Provide support and training to individual staff members needing to develop their IT literacy in areas such as the MS Office Suite
Local network maintenance and installation including cabling, switches/hubs and NIC configuration TCP/IP, windows network and domain services.
WAN connectivity and maintenance.
Installation and maintenance of shared printers and shared drives.
Server and server application maintenance and installation (Hardware integration, Windows server installation and maintenance, LAN and WAN connectivity & Antivirus Protection for both server and client environment)
Manage, control, and secure server and clients windows.
Fluency with Electronic Attendance machine, register staff into the machine, generate monthly timesheet.
Download and Upload data into E-Attendance machine, generate weekly, monthly attendance report.
Make suggestions for network hardware and software system improvements.
Provide assistance in procurement in the evaluation of all IT technical equipment.
Solve any hardware and software problem of staff.
Supporting and Enhancing the ACB’s Web Presence
Ensuring that the ACB maintains a user-friendly presence on the internet via its website and Facebook page – in collaboration with the marketing and media department and web designers who may be contracted from time to time
Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.

Expertise in current computer hardware and software
Individual Laptop, Desktops, Workstation and Server Maintenance
The administration and maintenance of computer stations, servers, printers and software across the ACB offices
Setting up of individual laptops/desktops and ongoing maintenance and repair of these
Creating network and email accounts, updating ACB phone lists and email address books
Management of the ACB internet connection, software licenses, software, hardware, and other IT supplies
Purchasing, in collaboration with the Procurement Office, of software, hardware, and other IT supplies as approved by management
Maintaining an inventory of all IT equipment belonging to the ACB – including ensuring return of equipment by staff who leave the ACB
Ensuring responsible storage, usage, and care of the ACB’s IT equipment
Any other tasks assigned by senior management which is aimed at enhancing the IT systems of the ACB
Minimum Bachelor degree in computer science
Require 5 years relevant job experience
