Job Summary:

The position holder will work as IT Officer under Program Director.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Being responsible for troubleshooting internet issues and contacting the ISP.
• Assisting in the purchasing of the IT and communication related equipment and parts.
• Training staff members on use of IT and communication equipments.
• Setting up/assigning and upgrading all IT and equipments for the projects.
• Monitoring the Internet connections.
• Installing update standard office packages.
• Ensuring backup recovery and data concurrency.
• Maintaining a virus free environment.
• Building a safe networking environment.
• Having an on time service for all the departments’ employees to avoid work delay or meeting deadlines on time.
• Holding meetings at least twice a month with all the staff for the betterment of the work system.
• Having a great and controlled cabling, ducting and net systems.
• Providing technical support to users regarding computer hardware, software, network maintenance and administration.
• Undertaking planned regular maintenance of information technology equipment.
• Monitoring proper power and environmental conditions for office technology equipment.
• Monitoring repairs and troubleshooting and co-ordinates with service providers.
• Taking regular backups and ensures restoration procedures for the LAN.
• Maintaining inventory of hardware equipment, software and computer consumable and assists in procurement of computer consumable and spare parts.
• Planning and supervising installation and relocation of new computers, printers and LAN.
• Providing training to office staff on software applications.
• Designer must ensure that logo and design standards are met on every project.
• Develop the creative direction of all marketing projects.
• Design and customize email website, sign up pages, and all other websites.
• Design all aspects of web advertising and images for media and print advertising.
• Create marketing presentations for companywide communications and conferences.
• Prioritize production/workflow to ensure on time and high quality delivery of materials.
• Select and manage freelance design staff when necessary. This task must be approved by directors before finalization.
• Using the sufficient web based design experience and graphic design experience in a marketing environment.
• Using of broad understanding of information architecture and user interface in designing websites required.
• Ability to create designs that are built with the capacity for future design modifications.
• Using of strong logo/property development skills and strong typography skills.
• Performing other related duties as assigned or directed.

Job Requirement:

University degree in computer or Information Systems, other related field, or equivalent combination of education, certification and experience in relevant.

Minimum of three (5) years of progressively responsible professional experience in LAN Operating Systems in both public and/or private sector organizations.

Proficiency with EPA/MIS, Windows software, in particular MS Office, Outlook, and Windows 2000/XP/Vista and 2003 servers.

Knowledge of Network Technologies (i.e. LAN Protocols, WAN Protocols, IP routing).

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Ability to take initiative and work under pressure with limited supervision.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and achieve team results or goals.

Ability to travel to provinces.

English (Speak/Read/Write) a must.
