Job Summary:

Maintain the IT network, servers and client computers at the MoMP compound and are up-to-date, work properly 24/7 and are free of viruses.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Develop an action plan based on job description.
2. Maintain the IT network, servers and client computers at the MoMPcompound and are up-to-date, work properly 24/7 and are free of viruses.
3. Monitor the MoMP network to ensure MoMP IT policies are being followed, including the removal of all illegal software.
4. Maintain the MoMP software inventory.
5. Ensure that all Cisco devices are running well and all the IOS are up to date.
6. Work with Cisco Switches and routers to maintain WAN Networks and troubleshoot them when needed.
7. Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Servers,Cisco ASA, Cisco VNP, Antivirus server, VoIP, Cisco ACS
8. Maintain and look after the Mail server, create email accounts, solve email problems and take back ups for the Mail server and email clients.
9. Maintain and look after the Domain controller and the DHCP Server, create users accounts, set security levels for different users, apply log on scripts.
10. Repair printers, copiers and any other IT equipment when needed.
11. Trouble shoots firewall when needed.
12. Configure and implement Dell TAP backup , Symantec Backup, Barracuda Web Application Firewall, Juniper, Open Source Technology, Virtualization System , Network Monitoring System Cacti, OP-manager, and Syslog Server
13. Any other tasks assigned by the IT Director,

Job Requirement:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

At least having a Bachelor degree in Computer Science / IT

Must be updating Certified CCNA, CCNP, MCITP, with past 3 to 5 years’ experience in enterprise network, organization or Data Center.

Certified in at least one of the Microsoft, EC-Council, CompTIA, Cisco certifications

Languages: Pashto, Dari and English.

Must be updating Certified CCNA, CCNP, MCITP, with past 3 to 5 years’ experience in enterprise network, organization or Data Center.
