Job Summary:

IT specialist

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervising all the IT assistants.
• Managing and controlling all the servers
• Creating new servers
• And many other things which are related to IT work

• Control and manage the existing databases.
• To develop new databases while needed.
• To keep update the databases in line with the project needs.
• To update the reporting section of databases regulary in order to answer all the reports asked by the donors.
• To analyze the data for different purposes.
• To develop new reporting formats in accordance with the projects data collection and reporting needs.
• To provide all types of quantitative data for donors reports.
• To develop handbooks regarding how to use the NRC current database.
• To develop handbooks regarding hard and electronic filling system.
• To facilitate the consistency and data accuracy between hard files and database in order that both systems reflect same figures.
• To mentor and evaluate the work progress of database assistants.
• To supervise the database assistants.
• To provide technical expertise and support to the database assistants.
• To ensure secure backup and confidentially of data on regular basis.
• To develop and provide training programs regarding database to database assistants.Read technical manuals, confer with users, and conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems and to provide technical assistance and support.
•Develop training materials and procedures, and/or train users in the proper use of hardware and software.
•Inspect equipment and read order sheets to prepare for delivery to users.
Answer users' inquiries regarding computer software and hardware operation to resolve problems.
•Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors.
Assist logistics department to purchase the right equipment for IT.
•Sending weekly or monthly report to IT Manager
•Any other duties assigned by supervisor.
