Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with users regarding the use of software packages and equipment; assist with utilization of packages, user needs; answer questions or resolve problems.
• Support data transfer and conversions.
• Aid computer users in resolving problems involving program intent, input/output requirements and other procedural and technical matters
• Based on user call, provide support for Outlook connectivity, hanging, slowness, help in personal configuration of rules, auto-archive, signature if requested by the user (make tasks very specific and detailed)
• Providing instructions for all the staff for how to work with network shared data and integrated email system
• Provide network connections for staff, placement, occupiers and visitors in accordance with agreed procedures

Routine Maintenance (30%)
• Install and/or assist in installation of software packages and/or equipment to include configuration of software/hardware
• Repairing and upgrading PC and MAC hardware and software
• Troubleshooting office equipment such as Printers, scanners, keyboard, mouse etc
• Review user manuals and computer listing to debug programs, interpret abnormal terminations or other inoperable situations and resolve problems.
• Support on necessary security and virus protection aspects for stand alone and network IT equipments
• Install PCS according to the agreed specification and standard configuration.
• Install Software as per the list agreed of the owner department.
• Install Antivirus, check daily update, and follow the screening of Viruses, spam’s, spyware as per the given routine and schedule.
• Assist in implementation of appropriate IT policies and procedures within the organization from an acceptable use policy

Infrastructure Support (10%)
• Act as a liaison between personal using the computer equipment and vendor support personal as required.
• Work with Network Operations team as appropriate to determine and resolve problems received from clients.

• Researching, learning, and evaluation new software
• Documenting systems

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (As assigned by the Supervisor)
• Analyze terminal instructions, queries, error messages, machine malfunctions, stops, schedules, program and job control language information to determine proper operating procedures and make procedures and operational correction and recommendations for improvement.
• Supporting other Team members encase of support requirement
• Perform any other tasks within the field of competence delegated by his /her superiors

Job Requirement:

Vocational Degree in Computer Science or related field, University Degree (Computer science or equivalent) is preffered
