Chemonics International is a Washington DC-based firm Chemonics International is a Washington DC-based firm seeking Bookkeeper Legal Translator/Interpreter candidates for the USAID-funded Trade and Accession Facilitation for Afghanistan (TAFA) project. The purpose of the project is to improve the trade environment for Afghanistan, thereby fostering increased investment, exports, and market-based employment opportunities. The project will help the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (GIRoA) and the private sector to pursue and realize the advantages of greater regional and global trade linkages and economic integration through three components: 1) trade policy liberalization; 2) trade facilitation; 3) public outreach on trade related issues.
Duties & Responsibilities:
â€¢ Provide technical IT support to the project staff;
â€¢ Diagnose and rectify IT technical problems in a timely manner;
â€¢ Support to users in backing up and restoring their files, as well as in virus detection, removal and prevention;
â€¢ Maintain and monitor internet connections;
â€¢ Provide on-site technical support for the maintenance and functioning of IT equipment, including network servers, switches, LAN cabling, PCs and Laptops, modems, routers, printers, etc.
â€¢ Assist in upgrading patch and anti-virus programs on a timely basis
â€¢ â€¢ Assist with trouble-shooting and monitoring of network problems.
â€¢ Respond to user needs and questions regarding network access..
â€¢ Any other tasks as directed by supervisor and work in faster pace to respond to all troubleshooting matters.

â€¢ Practical work experience (Cross Over/Straigh Cables)
â€¢ A+ Preffered
â€¢ Good English skills
â€¢ Work in under pressure environment.
